Overview
Scarborough Women's Centre invites volunteers to share their talents on one of its committees, with members attending weekday evening meetings every four to six weeks. Committee work supports the Board and the broader mission of helping marginalized and at-risk women in the community. There is a current need for members with Strategic Planning and Finance/Treasurer expertise.
Primary Duties
Serve on Strategic Planning, developing and monitoring SWC's strategic plan with input from members, volunteers, Board, staff, and community partners
Serve on Finance, helping steward SWC's financial resources
Serve on Communications/Fundraising, supporting outreach to marginalized women, referral agents, donors and the community, and SWC's fundraising, foundation, corporate, and individual campaigns
Serve on Governance, supporting the Board's work and keeping agency policies current
Attend weekday evening committee meetings roughly every four to six weeks.
