01

How can I become a volunteer?

Reach out through our contact form or email volunteer@givingbread.ca. We'll match you with one of our partner charities based on your interests, availability, and skills.

02

Where does my donation go?

100% of your donation supports our partner charities in Toronto and the GTA — funding programs in food security, refugee support, youth mentoring, and more. GBF is volunteer-run, so administrative costs are minimal.

03

Can my church or group partner with GBF?

Yes! We work with churches, corporate teams, and community groups to connect them with 3-5 partner charities annually. Contact us to schedule a presentation or discuss group volunteering.

04

What kind of charities do you partner with?

We partner with grassroots Canadian charities supporting vulnerable communities — including those addressing homelessness, refugee settlement, youth empowerment, women's support, and people with disabilities.

05

How do you choose your partner charities?

We evaluate charities through interviews, site visits, and financial review — looking for effectiveness, transparency, and impact. Our partner list is updated annually.

06

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes, GBF is a registered Canadian public foundation. All donations are tax-deductible and you'll receive an official donation receipt.
