Overview
Through this volunteer coaching role, you will support WeTogether by leading recreational soccer sessions for children and youth from underserved communities. Your presence on the field is more than a game; it is an opportunity to build trust, model integrity, and invest in young lives.
Primary Duties
Plan and lead structured soccer sessions for youth at WeTogether's site in the Jane & Finch community.
Build positive, consistent relationships with participants and model a Christ-centred character.
Coordinate with WeTogether's staff to align sessions with program goals and schedules.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Assist with any equipment setup and teardown on site.
Qualifications
Experience playing or coaching soccer at any level.
A genuine heart for children and youth from vulnerable or low-income communities.
Patient, encouraging, and consistent in character.
Ability to commit to when a soccer practice or game is scheduled.
