Overview
Support Romero House reception by answering calls, welcoming visitors, assisting with intake, and helping with administrative tasks and interpretation services.
Primary Duties
Answer phone calls and greet walk-ins
Refer visitors to appropriate staff or services
Log calls and voicemails in Google Sheets
Respond to donation inquiries
Provide interpretation support
Assist with reception and administrative tasks
Qualifications
Fluency in English and Spanish
Strong listening and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with Google Sheets, Forms, and email
Able to follow written instructions
Volunteer Requirements
One consistent day per week
Minimum 4-month commitment
Compassionate and respectful approach with newcomers
